Rapid Response Network:
The safe schools rapid response network, a project of NSSR, is an organized, staffed collaboration that can enhance the ability of allies to effectively frame community dialogue around LGBTQ issues in schools when faced with anti-LGBTQ opposition. The network connects local educators, students, families and advocates with experts across the country who can provide information, support, strategic guidance, messaging advice, talking points, media training, organizing tools and peer connections. By acting as a portal through which allies can access support, the network has helped protect LGBTQ-inclusive policies, practices and curricula around the country that were threatened by anti-LGBTQ opposition.
